Since 1983, the 21-piece Hannaford Street Silver Band (HSSB), modeled after the 19th Century British bands, has been stirring up critical and popular acclaim. The HSSB is recognized as Canada's award-winning premier professional brass band and is a Resident Company of Toronto's St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts. The HSSB has redefined what an ensemble of this nature is capable of!
At the age of three, Kaori first found her fingers drawn to the beauty of the cello and by the age of six, she was making her first public appearance on the stage of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. She is the recipient of many significant awards and honours both at home and internationally. Kaori Yamagami has served notice to the world: her time has arrived!

Amabile Young Women's Emsembleunder the direction of Brenda Zadorsky Monday, March 30, 2009 The award-winning Amabile Young Women's Ensemble is an auditioned group of 90 young women whose ages range from 12 to 28 years. The choir gives its members musical experience of the highest possible calibre and acts as a training organization to develop musical talents. Its repertoire covers all musical styles from Medieval to Avant-Garde. Beautiful, entertaining and moving - a tasty feast of tunes!!
All performances are held at Brantford's Sanderson Centre and start at 7:30pm.
